Now, for those of you who like life at a less frenetic pace, please read on. You'll know more about the programs, and make better choices, if you do.

Our subtitle above says it all and it's really the whole point of putting together this little mini-website. There are programs out there which are absolutely free to join, which will help YOU put more money in your pocket (or in the case of rebate programs - keep money in your pocket). There are also a lot of programs out there which will happily charge you a fee for the same information you can get for free. The sites discussed here are 1) Free; 2) Well-established; and 3) Have a proven track record of reliability, respect for your privacy and prompt payment.

So, that being said, please grab a cup of coffee or tea, relax and let's start out by discussing how to find Paid Surveys. Read this one page, thoroughly, and you could literally start earning money today:

American Consumer Opinion Panel

I am a loyal American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP) member and have been for about five years now. I have done many online surveys for ACOP, tested many products for them (toothpaste, hand lotion, perms, anti-aging systems, soap, sunless tanning products) and even participated in an online discussion board for five days, which took about 1/2 hour per day. My pay has been by check, within about four weeks or less of the survey's end, and has ranged from $4 (simple online survey) to $175 (online discussion board). I even won one of their random drawings (if you fail to qualify for a survey, ACOP enters your name into a random drawing for $5). ACOP is reliable, discreet and I get happy each time I receive an email from them about a new survey. ACOP is a member of the Better Business Bureau's Online Reliability Program.

E-Poll

Another one of the "oldies but goodies," having been around much longer than last month. I'm being sarcastic but trying to make a point. You want to go with well-established survey sites with a decently long history so that the site doesn't shut down next week and take your earnings with it. E-Poll has a young, fun-looking site and their surveys are fun too. Rather than cash payment, E-Poll provides reward points for the surveys you complete which you then redeem for gift cards or other stuff. By the way, don't write a program off simply because they don't provide a cash incentive - sites that give out reward points are just as viable. Last Christmas my efforts at various survey sites and reward program sites provided a little over $200 worth of gift cards for my loved ones. That's on top of the cold, hard cash I earned from surveys. Any incentive I'm provided - whether it be coin of the realm or a gift card - which keeps more money in my wallet is a good thing in my book. How 'bout your's? E-Poll is a member of the Better Business Bureau's Online Reliability Program.

Give Us Your 2 Cents (GUY2C) and Other Paying Surveys

Give Us Your 2 Cents is another survey provider which offers up quality surveys. I've completed surveys about my shopping habits, credit cards, airline travel, watched upcoming movie trailers and other fun stuff. The surveys you complete for Give Us Your 2 Cents enter you in a drawing for a chance to win $50,000.

Oh, i can hear the uproar from here! "Hey," you're saying, "these are supposed to be paid surveys!" Well if you just hush up and bear with me, I'll explain how to get paid for surveys sponsored by this company (and three other companies too!)

First, join up at the My Cash Honey website. My Cash Honey is a GPT (Get Paid To) site. Registration is free and will take you about 30 seconds. Once you've done that, find their Offers page by clicking on "Offers" which appears along the left side of the page. Now click on "Daily Surveys," which appears in the rectangular grid menu in the middle of the page. Lo and behold - one of the daily surveys is sponsored by...Give Us Your 2 Cents!

My Cash Honey is currently paying 80 cents for every GUY2C survey you complete AND a Honey Bee Point AND an entry into the My Cash Honey sweepstakes. So..instead of receiving only an entry into the $50k drawing sponsored by GUY2C, you have 80 cents, a Honey Bee Point, an entry into My Cash Honey's sweepstakes AND your $50k sweepstakes entry. Not bad, eh?

But even better than that: My Cash Honey currently has three other Daily Surveys you may qualify for - sponsored by InstantDollarz, AMP and Opinion Direct. All are very good, legitimate surveys from very good companies. Keep in mind that even though My Cash Honey's a GPT site, I'm not talking about the rest of the offers; those involve getting paid to become a sales lead, which is just fine and I've done a few of those too, but here I'm talking about the legitimate consumer opinion surveys only, which is why I'm only steering you to the Daily Surveys that My Cash Honey has to offer.

By the way, once you reach a balance of $5 at My Cash Honey you can cash out via Paypal. My Cash Honey pays on a net 30 basis meaning if you cash out anytime in April, you get paid at the end of May. May cash outs get paid at the end of June and so forth. Don't cash out until the last day of the month so that your payment will reflect all your activity for the month. And if you're wondering about the Honey Bee Points: Ten of them can be cashed out for a referral (meaning someone signs up under you and you get a certain percentage of their activity - don't worry, you're not taking money away from them - they get paid the same regardless. The percentage comes from My Cash Honey); or accumulate your Honey Bee Points and trade them in for cash.

Not to overplug My Cash Honey but I've had to email the owner a couple of times when I first started there. I had some pretty bone-headed questions, I knew they were bone-headed but I still had to ask. I got prompt, courteous and understanding emails direct from the owner, who had infinite patience with my newbie questions. She is a gem and her name is Roberta Kachel.

In Box Dollars

You can earn money from In Box Dollars a couple of different ways, again, for free. The first is by paid emails. In Box Dollars sends out emails each week, based on your interests, which pay out 2-3 cents each. Believe it or not, that's a good-size payout for paid email programs.

More importantly, In Box Dollars also has a Daily Survey which pays out $1 plus some nice free information offers and free-to-join offers which also pay. A very good example: You can sign up for both Synovate Surveys and IPSOS I-Say Surveys through In Box Dollars. Go ahead and click on the links above to check them out but DON'T sign up yet! Why? Because if you do, you're signing up and not earning money! First, sign up for In Box Dollars, for free. THEN sign up for Synovate and IPSOS using the links at In Box Dollars. Doing so will put $1 into your IBD account for each sign up.

In Box Dollars' payout is a little high ($30), via check, and it's on a net 30 basis. I've been a member for about two years and have cashed out only twice, primarily because I kept to the paid emails (easy to do, since they were staring me in the face each day) and completely forgot about the Daily Surveys. On the plus side, IBD offers a $5 sign up bonus. See? You could have $7 in your account within a day or two!

My Thought Counts

More quality surveys with a chance to win a cool prize - last time I checked the prizes were a Nintendo Wii, an Apple Iphone, a Sony Blu-Ray or a Sephora gift package. And here's the way you get paid $1 for every survey you complete for My Thought Counts in addition to your prize drawing entry.

Sign up at Gangster Greed - another GPT site like My Cash Honey. Again, it'll take about 30 seconds. After that, click on the "Earn Cash" menu (left side of the page), then on "Daily Survey," - a little way down on the page, in text. Bam! Another survey to complete for cash!

Gangster Greed allows you to cash out any time you want after your balance reaches $10. Payment is via Paypal and the nice part?? They process payment with 24-48 hours after you cash out.

By the way, don't forget that the surveys at In Box Dollars, My Cash Honey and Gangster Greed are daily surveys, so you can log in and try to qualify for a survey each and every day if you choose.

Lightspeed Consumer Panel

Another good survey company which is well-established and has a great track record. As with a couple of other sites I've mentioned, Lightspeed rewards with Lightspeed Points which can then be redeemed for cash or products (your choice) and the turn-around time from redemption to delivery is pretty darn quick - within a couple of weeks or so.

Pinecone Research

Ahh...what can I say about Pinecone Research?? They have great surveys, they keep 'em coming one after another, they're fun, they seem to be heavy into product testing and you can't join them at any link I can currently provide. As a matter of fact, you can go straight to their website (www1.pineconeresearch.com) and you STILL can't join. Why? Because they have one of the most ingenious marketing strategies I've ever seen. See, Pinecone has super-fast turnaround on their payouts (within about a week or less of you completing a survey); the funny thing is, they're payout is actually smaller than a typical payout for a similar company. I'm thinking of American Consumer Opinion Panel, whose online surveys typically pay out in the $4-8 range. Pinecone is usually in the area of $3. However, the only way you can join is if you happen to run across one of their banner ads somewhere on the web. It might be on a survey page like this one - it probably won't be. Who knows?? So...you have a survey company with great surveys, great client service and the implied exclusivity factor and of course this means that folks are just clamoring to be a member. I am a member and have been for about six months now. I'd given up on finding a banner and was online doing something completely unrelated and suddenly, I found the banner! Silly, huh? But it works! So scope out their website, get familiar with their graphics and should you ever run across one of their banner ads, click on it and join IMMEDIATELY. I can't say much regarding their surveys - they have a confidentiality agreement which they take very seriously - but I can tell you they are very fun and cover a wide range of consumer topics and products.

~ ~ ~

There. That's seven sources of free surveys that aren't going to disappear on you overnight and should get you going PDQ with a variety of quality consumer survey panels. I can't state enough that ACOP, E-Poll , In Box Dollars, and the Daily Surveys offered up by My Cash Honey and Gangster Greed are legitimate surveys. The surveys won't require you to opt-in for any "special offers" and they won't try to sell you anything. Each survey will take 15-20 minutes, give or take, and because they require some fairly deep thought on your part, they can be a little taxing sometimes. As with any other job you work - and as I said before, this is work - take your time, take breaks and see where it takes you. No, it's not a living, but I can't find any other part-time job that allows me to set my own hours, work in my PJs and watch TV at the same time.

If you've been researching paid surveys for awhile, you'll notice there are quite a few well-known companies I've left out and this is intentional. Some of the companies out there billing themselves as consumer survey panels are not survey panels in the truest sense of the word but rather thinly-disguised attempts to either sell you something or offer you some outrageous incentive - like a 42" plasma TV - for "free" after you jump through a series of what are called "Silver Offers" and "Gold Offers" which will end up with you just spending $$ on other programs, opening additional credit card accounts you probably don't need, etc. This page is small because we are only recommending true, quality consumer survey sources.

We'll update this site soon with more ways for you to earn money at home, great money saving and cashback methods, ways to track down free shipping and more frugal living ideas. Meanwhile, what are you waiting for?? Sign up for your paid surveys and make yourself some extra income today!
